8/07/08 - We have a new track that you can get on bigstereo.net. Travis is always so nice to us and we have much love for him. We also added a new show on Aug. 22nd @ Lennys Bar in Atl. We love playing at Lennys!

7/05/08 - A new Atlanta show was added for July 18th @ Lennys.

5/25/08 - We had a mention on Happy Meal in Ya Face. What a cool name for a blog! We are also going to be doing an 80's cover song for another dance music blog.

5/12/08 - We were featured on Bigstereo.net this week for our song Sparklin'. We are also hanging out in downtown Orlando this week before the Florida Music Festival. Orlando has many different vegan restaurants which makes Carson a happy girl.

5/3/08 - We added a new section to the web page where Carson will be selling her art. Check out the Carson's Art section.


4/30/08 - Workout Love is featured on the @ Couture Candy Webpage RAD!

4/29/08 - Some of our tracks were added in rotation @ WVUM 90.5 FM, The Voice of the University of Miami. Cool!

4/23/08 - We were invited to play Athfest on the Go Bar stage in Athens, Ga. So that is going to be awesome! Also "Workout Love is going to be featured on a compilation called "Sweet Sounds". This compilation is hosted by Couture Candy (www.couturecandy.com) and is set to be released on April 26th. Also in three weeks we head down to Orlando to play the Florida Music Festival on friday May 16th. We are playing at the AKA Lounge.

4/6/08 --Two new tracks on our Myspace page. The first is Totally Beachin'. For this track we tried to write a song as if we were going to a Miami beach party in 86. The next track is Baby make a Wish which is more in a classic eurodance style. We also added a show at the Drunken Unicorn in May. This will be our first time playing the DU.

4/4/08 - La Chansons was invited to play the Florida Music Festival in Orlando. Also, we had a mention on Southside Discotech. - they wanted to know why La Chansons wasn't bigger by now. Who knows? but hopefully we will pick up some new fans at the Florida Music Festival. The festival is right in time for our beach vacation! Also the Workout Love video is just about to hit 30,000 play on you tube. Finally, we have added a show in April @ go bar in athens. Our favorite place to play!

3/4/08 - Check us out on the Mochi and the Beats blog. We got a nice write up. Also we had a mention on A hipsters' progress blog. - we hear that the Athens, Georgia legend Dan Geller even called us "adorable"! We love it!

3/3/08 So you say our name is not correct French. You're right. We know. But we like it that way. :) We know it shouldn't be "La," but we kind of like it because it sounds like singing - la la la la! And singing makes songs, chansons. Also, we are one part girl, and one part boy, so our name is feminine and masculine. So yeah, we know it's wrong, but to us, it's sooo right! And hey, it's a just a band name right? Who says it has to be correct? So that's the story of our name. -Love La Chansons

2/08/08 - Travis @ Bigstereo.net did a very nice write up about La Chansons (although some of the users didn't agree). Be sure to check out Bigstereo.net. The site has many very cool djs and artists. He did compare us to, former fellow Georgia group, I am the world trade center. We have never had this comparison before. Actually, we thought this was quite a coincidence since we are playing with Dan Geller, of I am the World Trade Center, later this week. Thanks Travis!
